The process of interviewing a client, assessing their business goals and marketing needs, analyzing a web site, and making recommendations is actually a very similar process to taking a patient history, making a diagnosis, and recommending treatment options.
For those of you who are curious about how I got into this, it boils down to some difficulties over the years with web professionals on my own website. At one point, I essentially fell off the face of Google, and somewhat in desperation, decided to take matters into my own hands. I was fortunate enough to find Search Engine Academy NW.
